Worker Acknowledgement
By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree that Special Event Staff (SES) is an online marketplace that connects event companies with independent workers. SES is not your employer, staffing agency, temporary employment agency, labor provider, payroll provider, or agent.
You understand and agree that:
- SES does not hire, employ, supervise, schedule, direct, or control your work.
- SES does not guarantee that work opportunities will be available.
- SES does not negotiate, establish, or guarantee wages, rates of pay, tips, reimbursements, or other compensation.
- You are solely responsible for confirming the details of each opportunity directly with the hiring company, including pay, schedule, duties, location, dress code, and any other employment terms.
- SES is not responsible for wage disputes, late payment, non-payment, cancellations, no-shows, workplace conditions, injuries, employment decisions, or disputes between you and any company.
- You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before accepting any position or assignment.
- Any hiring relationship, employment relationship, or independent contractor relationship exists solely between you and the hiring company—not with SES.

Company Acknowledgement
By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree that Special Event Staff (SES) is an online marketplace that connects event companies with workers. SES is not a staffing agency, temporary employment agency, labor provider, recruiter, employer of listed workers, or hiring agent.
You understand and agree that:
- SES does not employ, supervise, train, manage, or direct any worker.
- SES does not guarantee the qualifications, availability, performance, reliability, professionalism, honesty, or suitability of any worker.
- You are solely responsible for recruiting, interviewing, screening, verifying credentials, checking references, confirming eligibility to work, conducting background checks where appropriate, and determining whether a worker is suitable for your event.
- You are solely responsible for setting pay rates, complying with all applicable employment and labor laws, paying workers, withholding taxes where required, maintaining insurance, and fulfilling all legal obligations related to your hiring decisions.
- SES is not responsible for worker performance, attendance, misconduct, property damage, injuries, wage disputes, legal claims, or any losses arising from your use of the platform.
- Any "Verified" badge or similar designation indicates only that SES has completed a limited verification process and does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding a worker's qualifications, experience, identity, or future performance.
