Privacy Policy

Your data, handled with care.

What we collect, how we use it, and what you control.

This Privacy Policy explains how Dynamic Buzz LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operating the Special Event Staff platform at specialeventstaff.com ("Service"), collects, uses, and shares information. Dynamic Buzz LLC is located at 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801. Contact: hello@specialeventstaff.com. Last updated: July 8, 2026.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Email, password, account type (worker or company), and the acceptance you provide when agreeing to our Terms.

Profile data. For staff: name, photo, headline, city / ZIP, experience, certifications (e.g. TABC, ServSafe), availability, and pay preferences. For companies: company name, logo, description, contact name, business address, EIN, website, and subscription details.

Phone number. If you provide a mobile number, we use it to reach you about jobs, applications, and shifts. Providing a number is optional.

Verification documents. For Verified Staff, a government-issued ID image, stored in a private storage bucket accessible only to the uploading user and SES admins reviewing verification.

Listings & applications. Jobs you post, jobs you apply to, application status, and messages or notes attached to applications.

Usage data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, and timestamps.

2. How we use information

  • Operate the marketplace — host profiles and job listings, process applications, and surface relevant matches in the DFW area.
  • Verify identity and eligibility for Verified Staff and Verified Company badges.
  • Connect staff and companies once a hiring decision is made.
  • Send transactional emails and, if you opt in, SMS messages (sign-in, application updates, shift confirmations, billing).
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.

3. SMS / text messaging

Two separate opt-ins. We collect two independent SMS consents: (a) transactional — job application updates, shift confirmations, and account notifications; and (b) marketing — job alerts and promotional offers. Each is unchecked by default and neither is required to sign up or use the Service.

Sender. Messages come from Special Event Staff (Dynamic Buzz LLC).

Frequency & charges. Message frequency may vary. Message & data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.

Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help. You may also uncheck either SMS consent in your account settings at any time, or email hello@specialeventstaff.com.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties, except SMS service providers (the messaging platform we use to deliver texts on our behalf) who are contractually restricted to using it only to deliver our messages. SMS consent and phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third party.

4. What is shared and with whom

Between users. Staff and companies see each other's relevant profile information needed to evaluate a match (e.g. worker headline, city, experience, certifications; company name, logo, job details).

Contact reveal on hire. Exact event address and direct contact details (phone / email) are revealed only after a company marks an applicant as "Hired" — and only between the company and that specific hired worker.

Service providers. We use vetted vendors to host the Service, send emails, process payments, and provide analytics. They access information only as needed to perform their work and are contractually restricted from using it for other purposes.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Dynamic Buzz LLC, our users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for advertising, and we never sell or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may break sign-in and core features.

6. Data retention

We keep account, profile, listing, and application data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Verification documents are removed shortly after a verification decision or account deletion. We may retain limited records (billing, security logs, SMS consent records) for legitimate business or legal reasons.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls, and private storage for sensitive documents. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Your rights

You can view and edit most of your information directly in your profile or company dashboard. On request, you can:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your account and associated personal information, subject to limited legal/operational retention.
  • Withdraw SMS consent or other optional features at any time.

To make a request, email hello@specialeventstaff.com from the address on your account.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 years and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
