Terms & Conditions

# A listing platform — not a staffing agency. 

Special Event Staff is a neutral listing platform that connects event workers and companies. We are not a party to any agreement, hire, or payment between them.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Special Event Staff platform ("Service"), operated by Dynamic Buzz LLC, 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801 ("Dynamic Buzz", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

## 1\. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

## 2\. Our role — connector, not employer

Special Event Staff is a neutral online marketplace that connects event companies with independent event staff. We are not a staffing agency, employer, employer of record, recruiter, or agent for either side. We do not hire, supervise, schedule, train, or pay workers, and we are not a party to any arrangement between a company and a worker.

Any hiring, employment, or independent-contractor relationship is solely between the company and the worker. You are responsible for complying with all applicable employment, tax, and labor laws for your own arrangements.

## 3\. Payments

**Between users.** Payments for work performed happen directly between the hiring company and the worker, off-platform. We do not process, hold, or guarantee wages, tips, or reimbursements.

**Platform fees.** Companies pay Dynamic Buzz LLC a subscription or listing fee to post jobs and access the platform. Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page and may change with notice. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Staff pay nothing to join or apply.

## 4\. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or discriminatory listings; harass or defraud other users; scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; upload malware; misrepresent your identity or credentials; use the Service to solicit off-platform recruiting fees; or use it for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

## 5\. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, listings, photos, reviews). You grant Dynamic Buzz LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

## 6\. SMS program terms

**Program name.** Special Event Staff SMS Notifications.

**Program operator.** Dynamic Buzz LLC.

**Message types.** Job alerts, application updates, and shift confirmations.

**Message frequency.** Message frequency varies based on your activity and matches.

**Cost.** Msg & data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.

**Opt-in.** You opt in by checking the SMS consent box in your account. Consent is not a condition of signup or of using the Service.

**Opt-out.** Reply **STOP** to any message to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages until you opt in again.

**Help.** Reply **HELP** for help, or email [hello@specialeventstaff.com](mailto:hello@specialeventstaff.com).

**Carrier liability.** Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and device.

**Privacy.** SMS consent and phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third party. See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).

## 7\. Verified badges

Verified Staff and Verified Company badges reflect a limited verification process we perform. They are not endorsements, certifications, or guarantees of a user's qualifications, honesty, or future performance. Companies and staff remain responsible for their own diligence.

## 8\. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Dynamic Buzz LLC does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular result (including hires, jobs, or income).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dynamic Buzz LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the fees you paid Dynamic Buzz LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim.

## 9\. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Dynamic Buzz LLC against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your hiring or work arrangements, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

## 10\. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

## 11\. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated version and date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

## Worker Acknowledgement

By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree that Special Event Staff (SES) is an online marketplace that connects event companies with independent workers. SES is not your employer, staffing agency, temporary employment agency, labor provider, payroll provider, or agent.

You understand and agree that:

-   SES does not hire, employ, supervise, schedule, direct, or control your work.
-   SES does not guarantee that work opportunities will be available.
-   SES does not negotiate, establish, or guarantee wages, rates of pay, tips, reimbursements, or other compensation.
-   You are solely responsible for confirming the details of each opportunity directly with the hiring company, including pay, schedule, duties, location, dress code, and any other employment terms.
-   SES is not responsible for wage disputes, late payment, non-payment, cancellations, no-shows, workplace conditions, injuries, employment decisions, or disputes between you and any company.
-   You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before accepting any position or assignment.
-   Any hiring relationship, employment relationship, or independent contractor relationship exists solely between you and the hiring company—not with SES.

## Company Acknowledgement

By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree that Special Event Staff (SES) is an online marketplace that connects event companies with workers. SES is not a staffing agency, temporary employment agency, labor provider, recruiter, employer of listed workers, or hiring agent.

You understand and agree that:

-   SES does not employ, supervise, train, manage, or direct any worker.
-   SES does not guarantee the qualifications, availability, performance, reliability, professionalism, honesty, or suitability of any worker.
-   You are solely responsible for recruiting, interviewing, screening, verifying credentials, checking references, confirming eligibility to work, conducting background checks where appropriate, and determining whether a worker is suitable for your event.
-   You are solely responsible for setting pay rates, complying with all applicable employment and labor laws, paying workers, withholding taxes where required, maintaining insurance, and fulfilling all legal obligations related to your hiring decisions.
-   SES is not responsible for worker performance, attendance, misconduct, property damage, injuries, wage disputes, legal claims, or any losses arising from your use of the platform.
-   Any "Verified" badge or similar designation indicates only that SES has completed a limited verification process and does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding a worker's qualifications, experience, identity, or future performance.
